Description of Problem
1. System lights do not come on (from tower control
panel light switch)
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure both ends of the power supply cord for your System are
plugged in correctly to the wall electrical source (outlet/ socket)
AND into junction box outlet in the tower cabinet.
B. Make sure circuit breaker that operates wall outlet is ON.
C. If System is plugged into GFCI wall outlet, push the reset button.
D. Check whether viewing tube light bulb and/or tower light bulb need
to
be replaced
2. UV Filter light does not come on Corrective Action
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure UV filter ballast is properly plugged into UV outlet
in the bottom of tower on the junction box.
B. Make sure UV harness assembly is properly plugged into UV bulb.
Refer to installation directions for UV filter
that came with your System.
C. If A. and B. don’t work, the UV bulb may need to be replaced.
Refer to bulb replacement instructions for UV filter that came with
your System.
3. CYCLE function does not work
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure CYCLE function switch on the tower switch panel is in
the ON position.
B. Place hand on Water Cycling Device to determine if it is working
as noticeable by a slight vibration and hum. If so, turn off switch,
make sure water is in main tank and then turn on switch again. An
air pocket may have temporarily interrupted cycle flow. If it is not
making
any noticeable vibration or hum when CYCLE function is turned ON,
contact technical support for further instructions.
4. FLOW function does not work
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure both Tower and Remote Switch Panel FLOW switches are
in the ON position.
B. If no water flows into basin with both FLOW switch(es) in ON position,
the Solenoid Valve may need to be cleaned or replaced.
C. Water may have exceeded 103 degrees F. (39.8 C.) and Temperature
Controller has overridden FLOW function. Check water temperature
and cool if necessary to 102 degrees F. or cooler.
5. Water does not flow into basin from main tank when
both FLOW switches are on
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure valve sequence is configured for Regular Operation Mode
Sequence A.
B. Check the sediment filter in the UV filter and check your log to
see whether it is time to replace it.
C. The black rubber neck at top of UV sediment filter may be restricting
flow. Remove filter, trim rubber around inner hole of filter and reinstall.
6. Water is not flowing into tank from water source
at all or is flowing very slowly
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure Valves #9 and #10 under basin cabinet are in OPEN position.
B. Make sure Mixing Valve on the basin cabinet is pulled to the OPEN
position.
C. Make sure Tank Fill Valve (#1) located behind small tower side
door is in OPEN position.
D. Check to see whether carbon filter needs to be replaced.
E. If A., B., C., and D. don’t work, the Tank Level Valve (Delta
Valve) inside main tank may need a new diaphragm kit.
(Plumbing) #3, #4, #5, #7 CLOSED #6 and #8 OPEN
7. Personal Sprayer does not work
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure volume control Valve adjacent to personal sprayer head
is in OPEN position.
B. Make sure Mixing Valve is in ON position.
8. Viewing Tube is clogged with waste matter
Corrective Action:
A. Turn on Viewing Tube Flush Valve to OPEN position and clear the
tube.
9. Viewing Tube Drainpipe is clogged
Corrective Action:
A. Plunge over basin drain with small plunger provided with Angel
of Water® CM-1 until drain clears.
B. Contact a licensed plumber. WARNING: NEVER POUR DRAIN CLEANERS
INTO YOUR ANGEL OF WATER® CM-1.
10. Water temperature is either too hot or too cold
Corrective Action:
A. Make sure Valves #9 and #10 are completely in OPEN position.
B. Make sure Mixing Valve is pulled completely to OPEN position. Adjust
toward hot or cold side to get properly tempered water (99 - 103 degrees
F. and 37 – 39 C.)
